Zip-a-dee-doo-dah

Over the last few weeks I have been analysing all my designs in my Minus shop and seeing how I can update and improve them. I felt some styles were simply crying out for an inside zip pocket to add an extra layer of safety for your valuables.

Therefore, the Fold top, Croissant, Petite Criossant, and A.P.Tote styles, all now have an inside zip pocket as standard.

In addition to updating my existing styles, I am hoping to introduce some NEW styles very soon. I will keep you all posted.

Cheers!

Minus Anniversary

Well, time flies when you're having fun, and I must admit I have been overwhelmed by the fantastic response to my designs. Yes... it has been incredibly hard work at times, but I wouldn't have changed anything over the last year and I hope the next year will continue to amaze me.

I am currently trying to continue to upgrade my designs as well as introduce some more new styles (when I manage to find some spare time!) so I am sure the coming year will be as frantic as ever.

I would like to say a big thankyou for supporting handmade designs!

The Toblerone in Paprika and Steel

Finally managed to add two more colours for the great Toblerone pouch. The first colour 'Paprika' is a spicy 100% ribbed cotton while the second 'Steel' is a 100% cotton corduroy with a soft hand feel. If you've never seen the Toblerone pouch before, then it is the perfect pouch for carrying your bits and pieces, like stationery, lipstick, cellphone, keys, chocolate bars, almost anything that normally occupies the bottom of your handbag. The Toblerone pouch is currently available in paprika, steel, berry, denim blue, and pale lilac.

Go take a quick look!

Dieter Rams

I must admit when I recently came across the designer, Dieter Rams, I had never heard him before. But his design style immediately left an impression on me. His design looks incredibly clean, functional and pure, and above all timeless. The above product could easily be a new product about to be launched at a forthcoming industrial design show, but no, this product was created in 1956... over 50 years ago!!!

The bulk of his design was for Braun, FSB, and Vitsoe. Try and take a look at some of his work and see if it still impresses today.

Natural...

I have recently sourced a new fabric and introduced it to my shop. It is manufactured by a UK mill in West Yorkshire, and is 100% cotton. I'm really excited about using it, because it is NATURAL in every way. Unbleached, undyed, untreated... It has a raw texture and woven with a slub effect.

It is currently available to buy as the fold top, hipster, or petite croissant.

Muted green and Cedarwood

The popular Croissant design is available in another two colours. Muted green is a brand new fresh colour while the Cedarwood makes a more than welcome return but in a different texture. Other colours currently available are ivory, teal, moss green, and dove grey.
