The 'Extra' fold top now in the shop

The all new 'Extra' fold top is in my shop and it's in a fantastic khaki beige cotton canvas. It is much bigger than the 'maxi' and original fold top bags that it can easily fit a 17" laptop plus much more. Inside also includes two pockets for wallets, cellphones, iPhone, and a trigger hook for your keys. Everything inside is kept safe and secure with a zip fastening. Outside features a large sleeve pocket with snap fastener running the whole width of the bag for items you need to grab quickly and easily.

There will be more colours coming soon but for now feel free to check out the Extra fold top in my Etsy shop.

The Minus messenger grows.

I've finished my latest prototype for the Large Minus Messenger as I wanted to make a larger version of the original Minus messenger that is capable of holding much larger stuff, such as my A3 portfolio or laptop. This new version is able to hold A3 sized folios, folders, documents, and even 17" laptops. Again, the construction of the messenger is very important, as I interline the whole structure of the bag with a natural heavyweight canvas to add extra strength and support.

The messenger has the same features as the original Minus messenger such as a fully adjustable shoulder strap, trigger hook, two inside pockets for wallet, cellphone, iPhone, etc... but the messenger flap now fastens with two snap fasteners.

I hope to finish the new Large Minus Messenger in some lovely canvas later this week.

I will keep you all posted...

Minus maxi fold top

As you know I originally made the Minus fold top for my wife as she wished she could have a bag that would look great no matter how many things she put inside it. The result was the Minus fold top bag that I posted earlier. I thought the concept of a bag being able to grrroooooowwwWWWW was great and I wanted the bag for me. So I developed the original into the New Minus Maxi fold top bag that looks great for both men and women.

Like the original Minus fold top bag, the height of this maxi version is able to grow with its contents. It offers great space and versatility to fit everything I need for work or going to the gym, but especially useful for going shopping. For the maxi version I have added extra seams and stitching details and I wanted to add a sleeve pocket with a snap fastener on the outside, as it is handy for keeping stuff I need most of the time.

Really happy about the result as it's a great bag for both men and women! The only problem is my wife will keep trying to use it all the time...

Etsy shop launch!!!

I am so excited to finally launch my etsy shop. Okay, I've only got a couple of products at the moment, but I hope to introduce many more over the coming weeks and months. For those of you that have never heard of Etsy it is a place where everything handmade can be found. It really is an exciting website as it has so many different products including fashion, jewellery, photography, art, homewares, bodycare, etc... and the great thing about it is that everything is made by hand, and not mass-produced, so you are sure to find something original.

Go and take a look. I'm certain you will enjoy it!

Boxes, boxes, and even more boxes

Everything has been up in the air for the last couple of weeks. As I've moved house there are only so many boxes I am willing to pack and unpack, and not forgetting the loss of internet and broadband. Well, I'm finally connected thanks to Virgin Media, and so far so good. Easy to install and very quick to activate. No I'm not working for them either, but first impressions of them so far is very good. Nothing much else to report yet, except I'm happy to be back here, but still have a stack of boxes to get through. Hopefully, it won't be long before I can launch my Etsy shop!!! (So excited!)

Sunday, Snowday, or both?

Was surprised to wake up Sunday morning to be greeted by a blanket of snow on everything. Such beauty for 8 o'clock in the morning. We don't get much snow around these parts especially in April so I had to go down the garden and take some pictures as the sky was intensely blue and the snow pure white. But the snow soon disappeared in less than 12 hours. I wonder if we will have another snow storm tomorrow?

Hope so, I love the snow...

Some logs by the fence!
